Pre-launch notice: MixMate is currently being prepared for commercial launch. The operator's legal name, postal address and contact email must be added here before paid subscriptions are offered publicly.
1. About MixMate
MixMate is an educational DJ coaching service. Milo analyses information available from your recording, supported DJ software and controller activity, then provides automated feedback intended to help you practise.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
3. Free trial and MixMate Pro
- Each new account receives one seven-day free trial without providing a card.
- The trial begins when the account is created and cannot be repeated, transferred or restarted.
- After the trial, Pro features lock unless you choose to subscribe.
- MixMate Pro costs £9.99 per month and renews monthly until cancelled.
- If you subscribe while trial time remains, only the remaining trial time carries over. If it has ended, the first payment is taken immediately.
- You can cancel through Manage billing. Access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period.
Prices and any applicable taxes are shown before payment. Payment and invoice details are handled by our payments provider; MixMate does not receive your full card number.
4. Digital service and cancellation rights
When you ask us to unlock digital Pro features immediately, you request that supply begins straight away. UK consumers may have a 14-day cancellation right for service contracts. Any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded still apply. Cancelling the recurring plan stops future renewals; contact details for any separate statutory cancellation request will be published before commercial launch.
5. Your recordings and music
You keep ownership of content you upload. You give MixMate only the permission needed to store, process, analyse and play it back to you as part of the service. You must have the rights or permission needed to record and upload that content. MixMate is for private analysis and coaching, not public music hosting, broadcasting or redistribution.
6. AI coaching
Milo provides automated educational guidance, not a human professional opinion. It can make mistakes, particularly when a recording or control reading is incomplete. Do not rely on Milo for copyright, licensing, legal, safety or commercial-release decisions. See the AI Policy for more detail.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful or harmful material, infringe another person's rights, or use automated methods to overload or extract the service.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep MixMate available and accurate, but do not promise uninterrupted operation or a particular coaching result. Features may change as supported software and controllers evolve. Material changes to these terms will be communicated in the service before they take effect.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, MixMate is not responsible for indirect loss, loss caused by unsupported equipment, or decisions made solely from automated coaching.
10. Ending access
You may stop using MixMate at any time. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use or a serious breach of these terms. You can delete stored mixes in Settings and request account closure.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep any right to bring a claim in your home courts.
